Solidarity Economy Principles Workshop – NYC Edition

On April 19th, 2022, NYCNOWC, UHAB and CEANYC hosted a conversation about the values and principles that are the solidarity economy movement’s foundation. Through participatory conversations – on Zoom – we explored and gave collective feedback on draft Solidarity Economy Principles that movement leaders from across the country have been developing.

These principles and practices are intended to spark conversation and action in our communities and movements, and are a loving response to the urgent need for greater cooperation, education, and self-governance in Solidarity Economy (SE) and co-operative organizing at all levels.
